8.6% ABV, Draft
Appearance: Dark coffee color with a tannish head.
Aroma: Pungent, with strong cherry and cinnamon notes.
Taste: Spices carry over from the scent and then are tamed somewhat by the vanilla from the porter. One of the most delightfully fascinating beers of the summer.
Mouthfeel: Warm and full-bodied, reminiscent of red wine.
The brewers at Harmony liken the Cavendish to the experience of smoking a good pipe. An eccentric ale, the Cavendish was born when Harmony’s Albius porter was aged in a cherry bitters barrel that arrived by mistake. Not to be missed.
