I must admit, I was quite hesitant to try Short’s Bloody Beer at first. Not being a fan of Bloody Marys, I thought this brew wouldn’t hit the mark either. The first sip immediately turned my feelings around. Yes, this has the spices, the tomato juice — all essential parts of this breakfast drink. But it’s not overwhelming, rather it’s very well balanced compared to what I expected, and from what I knew about the often spicy Bloody Mary cocktail. I’ll definitely be picking this one up again.
