This 2007 World Expo of Beer bronze medalist pours a dark red color with a fairly high head. I can see why it won such a prestigious award — this brew is sweet and is just a great, solid beer. The beer starts off with a caramel taste, and leads to a roasted malt finish. Like a lot of reds it’s fairly drinkable, but still retains a unique quality in the sweet caramel present.
