6.9% ABV, Draft
Appearance: Cloudy amber, much like apple cider, small whitish head.
Aroma: Crisp apple with other fruits peaking out.
Taste: Extremely fruity, mostly apple, but blueberry shines through as well.
Mouthfeel: It was fairly thick, but smooth.
Brewed as a red wheat ale for the GR Public Museum’s Brewers Challenge — which it won — New Holland combined many Michigan ingredients for this beer, including apples, as well as an apple-blueberry cider and spruce tips. It looks like a cider and drinks very similar to one as well.
