Death Star Lover is a great example of how fruit and dessert come together and form a magnificent beer. This slightly sour offering from Dark Horse is rather smooth — albeit a bit dry compared with some other sours I enjoy. The finish sings raspberry throughout, with oak and chocolate pushing its way to the palate as well. Overall a very enjoyable sour offering from the brewery out of Marshall.
