Appearance: Dark copper with virtually no head.
Aroma: Malty and grainy, with some caramel.
Taste: Malt-forward, grain on the backend.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied.
Bulldog Red Irish Ale contains everything I’d expect out of an Irish Ale, and it’s done extremely well. Lots of malt, a smooth finish and some natural caramel flavors make for a very well-balanced brew that’s not overly sweet.
