16% ABV, Bottle
Appearance: Pours a dark brown with no head.
Aroma: A bit of a wine scent to it, primarily fruit.
Taste: Boozy with some honey and roasted qualities to it, which eventually lead into a fruity finish.
Mouthfeel: Strong bodied and smooth.
Kuhnhenn’s Braggot is well worth the high price tag — containing qualities that you’d typically find in a fine wine and mead, this brew is heavy on booze, honey, roasted nut and fruit flavors. The flavors are well layered and still balanced, and lead to a very warm feeling — which I could only expect with a whopping 16% ABV profile. Absolutely an amazing beer, and one that’s unique yet still very enjoyable to any beer aficionado.
