9.79% ABV, Bottle
Appearance: Pours a bronze color, with a medium light tan head.
Aroma: Just a hint of cocoa; not much else.
Taste: Chili, pepper and other spices hit at the forefront, followed by dark cocoa towards the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, with moderate carbonation. Definitely a sipper — a bit of a boozy finish.
New Holland’s El Mole Ocho is a spiced ale full of flavor. Chili and other Mexican spices are present right away during a sip, and are followed up by some dark cocoa qualities. This would pair perfectly with some kind of spiced red meat, but is otherwise a sipping type of beer. There’s a bit of a boozy finish which highlights the flavors contained throughout the brew.
