7.5% ABV, Bottle

Appearance: Brownish red with a low head.
Aroma: Plum and raspberry.
Taste: Plum evident up front, with some chocolate and raspberry on the backend.
Mouthfeel: Watery, light-to-medium bodied with little carbonation.

Envious is what I’d call a nonstandard fruit beer — in that it’s not overly sweet, and more of a subtlety throughout each sip. Tastes of plum and raspberry are evident, with some chocolate at the finish as well. This is an easy-drinking brew, with a somewhat watery mouthfeel and very little carbonation. It’s refreshing — especially on a hot day — to have something that’s not over the top and that doesn’t completely overwhelm your palate.
