Brewery Vivant’s latest venture into sours is certainly one I’ll remember. Xena’s well-balanced flavors make for a pretty easy drinking sour; the brew is a good gateway beer to anyone wanting to venture into the sour style. Slight cherry and grape flavors give way to a pleasant oak finish. Last I checked, Xena was down to its last few drops, but if you can catch a sour at Brewery Vivant, you certainly won’t be disappointed.
