Vander Mill Loving Cup

on September 4 | in Beer of the Week, Reviews, West | by | No Comments

6.8% ABV, Draft

Appearance: Clear pink/red.
Aroma: A slight pepper smell with some floral notes.
Taste: Well balanced, with a bit of sweet and spicy.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied.

Unlike many of the overpowering peppered beers I’ve tried, Vander Mill hits the mark with a peppered hard cider — specifically, its Loving Cup. Paying homage to the Rolling Stones’ 1972 song, Loving Cup was originally created with Element Collective out of Chicago. Michigan apple juice is brewed with pink peppercorns and hibiscus to create a floral, sweet, yet peppery cider.
