The Filling Station Empire Imperial IPA

on June 12 | in Beer of the Week, Reviews | by | with No Comments

8.2% ABV, Draft

Appearance: Amber in color, medium head.
Aroma: Definite citrus aroma, quite a lot of hop as well.
Taste: Malt backbone with plenty of hoppiness and citrus flavor.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with a dry finish. Satisfying.

This is an IPA that features local hops from the Empire Hop Collective. The Filling Station tries to have at least one beer featuring local hops on their menu at all times. This beer is not a beginners brew, but not overly heavy either. It is one the brewery’s premium brews.
