Short’s Pandemonium Pale Ale is quite unlike any other pale ale out there, and the reason is…a bit hard to define.  Maybe it’s the unusual floral aroma.  Maybe it’s the somewhat indescribable flavor which seems to fluctuate between floral, hoppy and bitter depending on the sip.  Whatever it is, the end result — oddly enough — is a pretty smooth, easy-drinking ale.  And at only 5.4% ABV, you can afford to enjoy more than one…or as many as it takes to figure out what exactly is going on here.
