5.5% ABV, Draft

Appearance: Dark brown with a small head
Aroma: A slight tart smell.
Taste: Dark chocolate, tart raspberry, vanilla. Very well balanced, and pretty smooth.
Mouthfeel: Strong bodied but pretty easy drinking.

Arbor Brewing’s Rubus Cioccolata combines two of my favorite items in stouts — chocolate and fruit. While both are very evident throughout each sip, you’re not hit over the head with either chocolate or the tart raspberry flavors. It turns out to be a very balanced beer, and one that I’ll enjoy time and time again.
