What do you think of when you hear the word autumn? In Michigan, probably leaves on the ground, fall weather and football season. Short’s Autumn Ale is slightly deceiving with its namesake. A drinker might be under the impression they’re cracking into an Oktoberfest-style or a fall-themed beer. But inside this bottle lies an IPA in disguise. When its all said and done and by the time you get to the bottom of your glass, you may feel this ESB captures the autumn season after all.
