Short’s Key Lime Pie
5.75% ABV, Bottle
Appearance: Amber with a quickly dissolving small head. Some sediment rises to the top as well.
Aroma: Primarily lime.
Taste: Starts out with lots of lime followed by sweet marshmallow. A bit of a crust-like aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Creamy with a medium body.
Short’s Brewing Company’s take on this popular dessert holds true to its name — you get elements of lime, marshmallow and even the graham cracker crust. While it’s very sweet, and could maybe use some sour-like qualities, this brew is very much what I’ve come to expect from a dessert beer.
